Our Story

Orfer provides robotic automation solutions for the secondary packaging and palletizing of food and beverage products at the end of the production line. Our leading-edge robots are programmed, monitored, maintained and upgraded for optimal performance throughout their life cycle. We partner with our clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business needs, integrate our solutions with their production line seamlessly, and offer them ongoing training and 24/7 support.

Throughout the 50-year history of our family-owned company, we have continuously evolved to serve the automation needs of our customers. In 1970, Karl Stucki, father of current owner Paul Stucki, and Kalervo Tuominen founded the company when they recognized a growing trend towards industrial automatization. We began manufacturing saw machines for sawmills, but shortly afterwards we moved into packaging and palletizing machines for numerous industries. Notably, we have a rich history of supporting the unique end-of-line production needs of the dairy industry.

Orfer robotics are manufactured using precision robots in our own high-automized factory in Orimattila, Finland. We are also global distributors, resellers and product experts for Spitze, Kawasaki and Shibaura Machine (Toshiba) robotics with offices in Europe and North America.

Thanks to our relentless pursuit of innovation, unmatched technical expertise, and commitment to transparency and collaboration, our customers experience outstanding line reliability, logistical efficiency, cost savings and reduced environmental impact.
