Orfer Founder – Karl Stucki

Orfer provides robotic automation solutions for the secondary packaging and palletizing of food and beverage products at the end of the production line. We partner with our clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business needs, integrate our solutions with their production line seamlessly, and offer them ongoing training and 24/7 support.

Orfer factories

Throughout the 50-year history of our family-owned company, we have continuously evolved to serve the automation needs of our customers. In 1970, Karl Stucki, father of current owner Paul Stucki, and Kalervo Tuominen founded the company when they recognized a growing trend towards industrial automatization. We began manufacturing saw machines for sawmills, but shortly afterwards we moved into packaging and palletizing machines for numerous industries. Notably, we have a rich history of supporting the unique end-of-line production needs of the dairy industry.
